WASHINGTON, September 8. /TASS/. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is on Thursday departing for Geneva for a regular round of talks on Syria with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the U.S. Department of State announced.
The statement said the Russian and U.S. top diplomats will in particular focus their attention at the meeting on the problem of reducing the scale of violence in Syria.
