The results will be handed over to the monitors of the OSCE mission to Ukraine

DONETSK, August 25. /TASS/. Russia’s representatives in the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC) will investigate the overnight shelling of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic carried out by the Kiev forces, the DPR operative command said on Thursday.

"The Russian officers in the JCCC will investigate the facts of the overnight shelling of Gorlovka, Uglegorsk and Donetsk as soon as possible. According to preliminary information, the observer teams will be sent to the areas of overnight shellings to inspect and to fully assess the incidents," the Donetsk news agency quoted a member of the command as saying.

All the results of the investigation will be handed over to the monitors of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) mission to Ukraine, the command said.

Earlier in the day the republic’s operative command said the Kiev forces fired 75 artillery and 210 shells at Donetsk, Gorlovka and Uglegorsk at night. The shelling damaged 14 houses.
