DONETSK, August 25. /TASS/. A civilian woman died in the mortar shelling of the Zaytsevo village in northern Gorlovka conducted by the Kiev forces, a law enforcement source in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic said on Thursday.
"The Ukrainian side opened fire from mortars at the Zaytsevo village at night. As a result, a woman born in 1966 received serious shrapnel wounds. She died of the wounds in hospital," the source told the Donetsk news agency.
The participants of the Contact Group on settling the crisis in eastern Ukraine agreed to observe the silence regime starting from midnight on April 30. This is the eighth ceasefire agreement since the autumn of 2014. However, the self-defense militias and Kiev forces continue accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
