MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. The regime of cessation of hostilities has been mostly observed in the majority of Syrian Arab Republic governorates, with seven violations registered in the governorates of Rif Dimashq (5) and Latakia (2), the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring sides in Syria said in a news bulletin posted on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website.

"Formations of the Jaysh al-Islam group, which ranks itself among the opposition, mortared the localities of Arbil, Harasta, Haush-ash-Shalak, Jaubar and Duma in the governorate of Rif Dimashq. According to the center’s data, groups of the terrorist organizations banned in Russia (Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State) keep hindering the final establishment of the cessation of hostilities in Syria. Over the past day in Aleppo, terrorists shelled from mortars and homemade multiple launch rocket systems a number of neighborhoods, a trade center and southern farms.
