DONETSK, August 16. /TASS/. Eight houses were damaged when the Kiev forces shelled several towns of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic in the past 24 hours, the DPR operative command said on Tuesday.
"Eight houses were damaged in Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Zaytsevo and Telmanovo in the overnight shelling carried out by the Ukrainian forces," a representative of the command told the Donetsk news agency. Several windows and roofs of the houses were damaged.
Earlier in the day, a source in the DPR told the agency that the Ukrainian forces fired 229 artillery shells at a number of settlements in the republic late on Monday and early on Tuesday. A gas pipeline and power lines were damaged in Dokuchayevsk.
