BERLIN, August 11./TASS/. German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier confirmed on Thursday media reports saying he was planning to shortly visit Yekaterinburg, a city in the Russian Urals.
"Indeed, I am planning next week to visit Yekaterinburg, where I will deliver a lecture at Boris Yeltsin University and will have a discussion with students. Of course, given the chance I will meet with the Russian foreign minister. There are enough topics to be discussed," the minister said in an interview with the German newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung, issued on Thursday. He did not give the concrete date of the visit.
