North Korean missile plunges in Japan’s exclusive economic zone

Following the missile launch, Japan’s government submitted a protest to North Korea through its diplomatic ties in Beijing

TOKYO, August 3. /TASS/. The ballistic missile launched early on Wednesday by North Korea, preliminarily a medium-range "Nodon" missile, plunged in Japan’s exclusive economic zone, Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani said.

Following the missile launch, Japan’s government submitted a protest to North Korea through its diplomatic ties in Beijing.

As was reported earlier North Korea launched a ballistic missile from Hwanghae-namdo Province towards the Sea of Japan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.
