BERLIN, July 25. /TASS/. One person was killed and another ten injured in an explosion in the German city of Ansbach, near Nuremberg, Reuters reported citing local police.

According to preliminary reports, it was a gas explosion at a restaurant. Police does not confirm this information yet.

The center of the city was partially cordoned off, and special forces were involved.

BNO News reported that 11 people were injured in the blast.

The blast was caused by an explosive device, Nordbayern reported on Monday citing the city’s mayor.
