Azerbaijan has transfered a number of buildings and structures and an airfield terminal near the capital Baku for use by Turkish troopers

BAKU, July 20 /TASS/. Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliev has transferred a number of buildings and structures at the Gyzyl Shyarg (The Red East) military encampment and an airfield terminal near the capital Baku for use by Turkish troopers.

"I approve a protocol signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey in Baku on June 3, 2016 on assigning the use of buildings and structures located at the Gyzyl Shyarg military encampment and the terminal’s building at an airfield in Gadzhi Zeinalabdin village," President Aliev said in a decree published at the presidential website on Wednesday.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry received an order to implement the protocol.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry is to notify the Turkish government of the need to carry out some intra-state procedures to make the document come into force.
