Over 300,000 people in DPR sign petition to UN Security Council

The petition addresses to the council regrading violations of the Minsk Accords by Kiev

DONETSK, July 19. /TASS/. Collecting signatures for the address to UN Security Council regarding violations of the Minsk Agreements by Ukraine has finished in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Donetsk News Agency reported on Tuesday.

After signing the address, DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko said: "I expect a reaction from UN Security Council and general reaction to this letter as well. Ukraine is completely discrediting the activities of such international organizations by its actions. We show them that people living here (in DPR) are not terrorists. We did not want this war, and we did not start it. Any war ends, but the question is how to end this war."

The initiative to collect signatures was launched on June 1. Over 300,000 people signed the petition to UN Security Council.
