ANKARA, July 16. /TASS/. The total of 90 people was killed during the military coup attempt in Turkey, Anadolu reported on Saturday.
The number of the injured is 1,154.

A group of insurgents staged a military attempt coup in Turkey on the night from Friday to Saturday. Bombs were dropped on the parliament building and the presidential palace in Ankara. According to latest reports of the prosecutor’s office at least 60 people have been killed in clashes in Ankara and Istanbul.
Turkish authorities report 754 suspected of participation in the coup attempt were detained.
According to Reuters, 29 colonels and five generals among 1,563 members of the armed forces were arrested in the wake of the coup attempt.
The agency says, another 200 unarmed soldiers and officers surrendered to the police.
