MOSCOW, July 11. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and EU Ambassador Vygaudas Usackas have discussed issues of the International Afghanistan Donors Conference, the foreign ministry said on Monday.

"Current situation in Afghanistan and issues of the upcoming International Afghanistan Donors Conference, which will be held in Brussels from October 4 to 5, were discussed at the meeting," the ministry said.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini said earlier that the conference will be an example of NATO-EU proactive cooperation in the field of international security.
