WASHINGTON, July 6 /TASS/. The United States has imposed unilateral sanctions on North Korean leader Kim Jong-un for violating human rights in North Korea, U.S. administration officials told journalists at a special briefing on Wednesday.
According to them, the punitive measures are also applied to some other people in the North Korean leadership; mid-ranking bureaucrats as well as employees of some state institutions and organizations.
There are 23 people on the blacklist, the U.S. officials clarified.
