DONETSK, July 5. /TASS/. Reconnaissance units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have disclosed new facts of concealment by the Ukrainian command of casualties among the personnel of the armed forces of Ukraine in the south-eastern Donbass region, representative of the republic’s operational command Eduard Basurin told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
"The Ukrainian military leadership continues to conceal the losses from the public and does not take any measures to bury the dead servicemen," he said. "Another such fact has been established in the Sladkoye settlement (near Maryinka), where about 40 bodies in military uniforms with insignias of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were found in deserted buildings".
The DPR reconnaissance has repeatedly recorded cases of concealment by the Ukrainian army command of the actual number of casualties among the Ukrainian army personnel. According to recent reports, over the past week alone, losses of the Ukrainian forces’ in Donbass have exceeded 80 servicemen.
Recently, the DPR reconnaissance services have been reporting growing losses in the Ukrainian army. Most of injuries were received in clashes between Ukrainian regular troops and nationalist battalions, in friendly fire and due to erroneous actions and negligence of Ukrainian commanders.
