LUGANSK, July 1. /TASS/. Kiev forces have redeployed 40 tanks to Schastye, a town in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, official spokesman of the LPR militia Maj. Andrei Marochko said on Friday.
"According to our intelligence, on June 30 a convoy of armored vehicles consisting of 40 T-64 tanks crossed the settlements of Novoaidar and Alekseyevka of the Novoaidarsky district and also Krasny Oktyabr to reach Schastye," Marochko was quoted by the LuganskInformCenter as saying.
Kiev forces have used this route many times to relocate equipment and forces, he added.
Several cars with heavy armored vehicles of the Ukrainian forces arrived at the railway station in Rubezhnoye on June 29, Marochko said.
The Kiev forces also sent 30 mercenaries from the Eastern European countries and 40 mercenaries from Georgia to the military operation zone in Donbass, he said.
