Good neighbourly relations in Black Sea region Serbia’s priority task in BSEC — speaker

MOSCOW, June 30. /TASS/. Development of good neighborly relations in the Black Sea zone will become the priority task of Serbia as the presiding country in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Organization, Speaker of the Serbian parliament Maya Goikovic said on Thursday upon the results of the 47th general assembly of the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly (PABSEC).

"We are glad that our country will host the 48th PABSEC general assembly, which will be held in Belgrade from November 29 to December 1 of the current year," she said.

Goikovic invited delegations of all BSEC member states to take part in the PABSEC events in Belgrade and stated that "the countries may have different political, but in spite of this, BSEC develops interaction with all members of the Black Sea economic cooperation."

In her view, the parliamentary diplomacy "is the important instrument in the development of bilateral and multifaceted relations." "It is of great importance to step up parliamentary dialog and dialog between deputies of the BSEC member states," the Serbian official said.
