MOSCOW, June 29. /TASS/. Two civilians were wounded in the shelling of a village in the western suburb of Donetsk carried out late on Tuesday, a source in the law enforcement bodies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic said Wednesday.
The Ukrainian forces opened fire on the Trudovskiye village at 11.25 p.m. local time on Tuesday from 120mm mortars. "A man born in 1962 and a woman born in 1939 received shrapnel wounds during the shelling," the source told the Donetsk news agency.
The victims have been hospitalized and their condition is serious, he added.
The Kiev forces’ shelling also damaged two houses in Donetsk and Dokuchayevsk overnight. The shelling of Dokuchayevsk was carried out from 120mm mortars and anti-tank guided missiles.
The fire was opened from the Ukrainian forces’ positions in Novotroitskoye and Maryinka, the source said.
