MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have shelled people’s militia positions in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) 13 times over the past 24 hours actively using mortars and grenade launchers, the LPR Defense Ministry said.

The village of Zhyoltoye was shelled three times from the Orekhovoye village area with automatic grenade launchers, light anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms," LuganskInformTsentr news agency quotes the ministry's spokesman as saying.

The people’s militia also noted that that the village of Kalinovo was shelled twice with small arms from the areas close to the villages of Troitskoye and Novozvanovka. The Ukrainian military used 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and tripod-mounted man-portable anti-tank guns.

"The Ukrainian army shelled the village of Khryaschevka with small arms from the Sizoye village area. Donetsky village was shelled with automatic grenade launchers from the Novotoshkovskoye village area. The Vesyolaya Gora village area was shelled with 82mm mortars from the area close to the city of Schastye," the ministry added.

According to the LPR people’s militia, there were no casualties.

Members of the Contact Group on the settlement in eastern Ukraine reached an agreement at a meeting in Minsk on April 29 on a complete ceasefire in the Donbass region as of April 30. However, the Ukrainian armed forces and the militias continue to accuse each other of violating the truce.
