MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. A source in the operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has reported 412 cases of the pro-Kiev forces' opening fire at the territory of the unrecognized republic over the past 24 hours.
"Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military shelled the republic’s territory 412 times firing 134 120mm and 160 82mm mortar bombs. The fire attack was also mounted with infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms," Donetsk News Agency quotes him as saying.
According to the DPR command, the Ukrainian armed forces shelled the city of Yasinovataya, Vasilyevka and Mineralnoye villages in Yasinovataya district, Sakhanka village in the south of DPR, Zaitsevo village and the Gagarin coal mine area near Gorlovka and Elenovka village near Donetsk. The Ukrainian military also opened fire at Zhabichevo populated locality, Spartak village in the suburbs of Donetsk,the city’s Petrovsky district and the airport area.
