North Korea conducts two ballistic missile launches

Japan’s Defense Ministry noted that no security threats were registered in connection with the launch of a ballistic missile, but called it a threat to the global community

SEOUL, June 22. /TASS/. North Korea has conducted the second launch of a ballistic missile during the day, Reuters news agency reported referring to a South Korean military source.

According to the agency, North Korea carried out a second launch of medium-range missile Musudan about two hours after the first launched had failed.

There have been no reports yet about whether the last launch was successful or not.

The first launch of the Musudan missile took place earlier on Wednesday at 05:58 local time near Wonsan on North Korea's northeast. Japan’s Defense Ministry noted that no security threats were registered in connection with the launch of a ballistic missile, but called it a threat to the global community.
