CAIRO, June 8 /TASS/. An EgyptAir plane, which was heading from Cairo to Beijing, made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan on Wednesday because of a bomb threat, the Al-Ahram new portal reported on Wednesday referring to the Egyptian air company’s source.

The Cairo international airport administration received an anonymous phone call about a bomb planted onboard flight 955 shortly after the plane had taken off from Cairo. It was decided to land the plane in Uzbekistan.
