MOSCOW, June 6 /TASS/. One civilian died and another one was injured when the Ukrainian army shelled Trudovskiye settlement near Donetsk on Monday, Eduard Basurin, a representative of operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), told the Donetsk News Agency.
"A civilian died and another one was injured in the Trudovskiye settlement [Ulitsa Lyotchikov] which came under mortar shelling tonight," Basurin said.
Earlier, the DPR forces reported that the Ukrainian army had launched almost 50 mines at the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and Dokuchayevsk.
Ukrainian troops have fired 230 mortar shells on northern and western outskirts of Donetsk, on a check point in Yasinovataya settlement and the settlement of Sakhanka in the south of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic on Monday evening, a law enforcement source has told the Donetsk News Agency.
The source said Ukrainian troops were shelling DPR localities from 16:30 to 21:30 local time, firing all in all 100 mines of 120mm caliber and 130 mines of 82mm caliber. He said Ukrainian troops also used tank weapons, firing 15 tank rounds.
On April 29, the Contact Group for a settlement in eastern Ukraine agreed the full ceasefire in Donbass starting from the midnight of April 30. It is an eighth ceasefire agreement since the autumn of 2014. The sides however continue to accuse each other of ceasefire violation.
