MOSCOW, June 6. /TASS/. Russia’s defense ministry on Monday refutes allegations about Russian air strikes on a market place in the Syrian city of Al-Asharah.
"The Russian defense ministry has refuted a Reuters report that cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that a market place in the city of Al-Asharah in Syria’s Dei ez-Zor province was a target of Russian air strikes," Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"Russia’s air group performed no combat missions, neither did it deliver strikes in the city of Al-Asharah in the Syrian province Deir ez-Zor," he said.
