Militia say Ukrainian forces advanced into "grey zone" near Gorlovka

Ukrainian forces reportedly advanced 300 meters closer to DPR positions near Mayorsk on Thursday

MOSCOW, June 3. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have advanced for 300 meters into the "grey zone" on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka, head of the operational headquarters command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Ruslan Yakubov said on Friday.

"Yesterday Ukrainian forces advanced 300 meters closer to DPR positions near Mayorsk," Donetsk News Agency quoted Yakubov as saying.

DPR repeatedly registered movement of Ukrainian forces in violation of the Minsk Agreements. In March 2016, Kiev forces seized part of the territory in the buffer zone near the Donetsk-Gorlovka highway near Avdeyevka. In April, they advanced for almost three kilometers into the "grey zone" from the Kiev-controlled Novotroitskoye settlement to DPR-controlled Dokuchaevsk.
