MINSK, May 17. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko plans to pay a visit to Italy and Vatican on May 20-21, Lukashenko’s press service said on Tuesday.

"The program of the visit includes talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella. The two presidents are expected to discuss the entire range of Belarusian-Italian relations with a focus on trade-and-economic and investments cooperation," the press service said. "Special attention will be paid to the formation of a comprehensive legal framework for the Belarusian-Italian cooperation."

"During his visit to Vatican, Lukashenko will meet with Pope Francis to discuss Belarus’ cooperation with the Roman Catholic Church," the press service said.
