MOSCOW, May 10. /TASS/. A source in the aw enforcement agencies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has reported shelling of the village of Belaya Kamenka in the south of Ukraine's unrecognized republic.
"Around midnight the Ukrainian side began to shell the village of Belaya Kamenka with 120mm mortars," Donetsk News Agency quotes the source as saying.
According to him, the fire attack was mounted from the Ukrainian army positions near Novognatovka village (Volnovakha district). In addition to mortars, the Ukrainian army also used grenade launchers and small arms.
Members of the Contact Group on the settlement in eastern Ukraine reached an agreement on a full ceasefire in the Donbass region for the eighth time on April 29. However, the people’s militia and the Ukrainian army continue to accuse each other of violating the truce.
