PRAGUE, May 7. /TASS/. President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, is going to mark V-Day by attending a reception the Russian embassy in Prague organizes on the occasion, the Prague Castle said in a report at its official website on Friday.
"On May 9, 2016, the President of the Republic will take part in a reception at 12:30 organized on the occasion of a national holiday of the Russian Federation," it said.
On Monday, May 9, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Soviet liberator-soldiers at the Olsany cemetery. Top-rank Czech officials are expected to take part in the remembrance ceremony.
After that the Russian embassy will hold a reception.
