MOSCOW, April 29. /TASS/. The ceasefire in Syria will apply not only to Damascus and Latakia but also to Aleppo, one of the leaders of the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation, representative of the opposition "Moscow platform" (part of the Moscow-Cairo group) Qadri Jamil said on Friday.
"[It applies to] Aleppo as well," he said answering a question on the issue. "This is the first step toward returning to the truce. That’s why it is very important."
"I think there is a conspiracy against the truce. This conspiracy began with the start of the last round of the Geneva talks. The Riyadh group’s withdrawal from the negotiations is one of the stages of this conspiracy," Jamil said.
"I think, however, that there is enough international will and the Syrian people’s will to continue the truce and achieve a political negotiation process," he said.
