KIEV, April 15. /TASS/. Ukraine’s new government is preparing a document defining a strategy of the country’s authorities on resolving the conflict in Donbass, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told reporters on Friday.
"We will present the strategy in the coming days as this should be a document with priorities and ways of achieving what we want," the minister said at a press conference responding to a question on the plan for the region’s reintegration.

Klimkin also stressed that a new ministry on these issues has been created in the government, calling this "an important step forward." He has already met with the new head of the ministry, Vadim Chernysh. "Tomorrow we will continue the discussion and a range of issues should be solved in the near future."
After security is ensured in Donbass, elections will be held in the region which should "return to normal life and integrate into the Ukrainian legal framework." This will be impossible without the assistance of the Western partners, he stressed.
"The Western partners are not just ready to help, we talk to them on what we should do and what assistance would be useful for us," he said, adding that European partners visit both Kiev and the zone of military operation in Donbass to assess the situation there.
