KIEV, April 14./TASS/. The faction of Batkivshchyna Party in the Ukrainian parliament goes into opposition to a new government, party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has said.

‘Why wasn’t the resolution of Svoboda about resignation of [Arseny] Yatsenyuk put to vote, but we saw ‘a package vote’, which is at variance with the constitution and law," she asked.

"This means there is no trust. Chairs swap places, not people. That is why, Batkivshchyna goes into European democratic opposition," she said.

From now on, the faction will be in opposition to the coalition of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and People’s Front, she said. "This is the first time in Rada when democratic forces will be both in power and in the opposition," she said.

She also said Batkivshchina was launching consultations with the civil society to form a new state policy.
