BISHKEK, April 11. /TASS/. The Kyrgyzstan’s parliament will consider the motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Temir Sariyev at the session on April 13, the parliament’s press service told TASS on Monday.

"The deputies will discuss this issues on the basis of the proposal put forward by a parliamentary commission," the press service said. On Saturday the commission proposed a motion of no confidence against the prime minister to the consideration of the parliament. "This issue has already been included in the agenda," the press service noted.

The parliamentary commission was set up following a scandal in the republic connected with a tender for reconstructing a 104-kilometer part of the Balykchi-Korumdu road in the Issyk-Kul Region. Several days ago Minister of Transport and Communications Argynbek Malabayev accused his deputy and people close to Sariyev of lobbying the interests of one of Chinese companies when holding this tender.

The prime minister in response filed a request for Malabayev’s resignation to Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazek Atambayev. However, Atambayev did not grant his request but instead ordered the anti-corruption service of the state committee on national security to conduct an investigation into the results of the tender for reconstructing the Balykchi-Korumdu road.

Atambayev also handed to the parliament the proposal to introduce amendments to the law broadening the prime minister’s powers to dismiss cabinet members.
