TEHRAN, April 11. /TASS/. More than 40 documents envisioning expansion of partnership in the trade and economic sphere, including mechanical engineering and tourism, will be signed after Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s talks with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, Iranian media reported.
Nazarbayev’s two-day visit to Iran, which kicks off Monday, will focus on strengthening cooperation in different spheres.
Agreements in the sphere of scientific-technical interaction, including in the space and nanotechnology spheres, will also be signed.
Out of $635 million of the overall trade turnover between the two states in 2015, Kazakh exports accounted for $566 million. The sides plan to discuss prospects of increasing trade to $3-4 billion.
