North Korea holds ground test of intercontinental ballistic missile engine — KCNA

The country’s leader Kim Jong-un was supervising the test at the Sohae range

PYONGYANG, April 9. /TASS/. North Korea has conducted a ground test of the engine of a new-type intercontinental ballistic missile, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.

The country’s leader Kim Jong-un was supervising the test at the Sohae range, the report said.

Kim compared the test with "a milestone event in the cause of strengthening the DPRK’s defense capability shortly before the seventh congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea" to be held in early May 2016.

He said the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea now has "access to another type of nuclear attack on American imperialists and other hostile forces.".
