Burial of Ukrainian military found in north DPR - source

The republic’s authorities say they will exhume the bodies

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. A burial of the Ukrainian servicemen was found near Debaltsevo in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source at the republic’s defense bodies said on Sunday.

"Near Debaltsevo was found a burial of Ukrainian military, whose bodies were simply thrown away to hide losses and consider them missing," the Donetsk News Agency quoted the source as saying.

"As many as ten Ukrainian servicemen are found in the burial," the source said.

The republic’s authorities say they will exhume the bodies.

On February 18, 2015, the Donbass militia blocked unions of the Ukrainian military in Debaltsevo and returned control of the city. While retreating, the Ukrainian military destroyed 80% of the local houses and infrastructures, including the biggest railway hub in Donbass. The operation in Debaltsevo later on received the name of "the Debaltsevo trap.".
