London declines to comment on murder of lawyer of Russian citizen on trial in Ukraine

LONDON, March 29. /TASS/. The British Foreign Office is currently not prepared to comment on the murder of Yury Grabovsky, a lawyer who represents in court one of the Russian citizens detained in Ukraine Alexander Aleksandrov, an official representative of the Office told TASS in a telephone conversation on Monday.

"So far we do not have an official position on this issue," the representative said, not ruling out that the Foreign Office could issue an official statement on Tuesday morning.

The body of Yury Grabovsky, lawyer defending the interests of Russian Alexander Alexandrov detained in Ukraine, was found with gunshot wounds in in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine on March 25. Law enforcers have detained two suspects in the crime.

Grabowski has disappeared in early March. It is known that on March 5, he was in Odessa, on the next day he returned to his office in Kiev. After that, nobody saw him.
