ROME, March 27 /TASS/. Italian police have detained an Algerian linked to a network, which had aided and abetted the organizers of terror attacks in Brussels and Paris, in Salerno in southern Italy, the ANSA news agency reported on Saturday.

According to Belgian investigators, Jamal Eddin Wali (Djamal Eddine Ouali) is suspected of being linked to a network, which made false documents for a group of people who had prepared terror attacks in Paris and Brussels.

Two bombs went off at Brussels airport and the Maelbeek metro station in the European quarter in the Belgian capital on March 22. According to the latest official reports, 31 people were killed, of whom 24 have been identified. Another 340 people were injured. They include citizens of 40 countries. There are no Russians among them.
