GENEVA, March 24 /TASS/. U.N. Special Envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura has said he has submitted the question of Kurds’ participation in the inter-Syrian talks to the United Nations Security Council and is now waiting for a reply.
The Kurds are Syrians who should be involved in the inter-Syrian talks, de Mistura told TASS. I discussed that issue with the U.N. Security Council and asked what the response could be. I am still waiting for a reply, he said.
