Kerry, Steinmeier discussed Syria, Ukraine at Moscow talks — German embassy

The US diplomat is due to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin later on day

MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Syria and Ukraine topped the agenda of talks of US Secretary of State John Kerry and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Moscow on Wednesday, the German embassy said on its website.

Kerry confirmed the meeting, writing on Twitter that the sides "exchanged thoughts" on the situation in Syria and Ukraine.

The US top diplomat arrived in Moscow on Wednesday on a two-day visit. Kerry is due to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin later on day.
