GENEVA, March 23. /TASS/. Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, is holding a meeting with the head of Syria’s governmental delegation at the talks in Geneva, Bashar Jaafari, a TASS correspondent reports from the scene.

Earlier on Wednesday, Mogherini arrived in the Swiss capital to hold meeting with participants in the intra-Syrian talks and UN Secretary General Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

The talks are ongoing against the background of terrorist attacks that hit Brussels on March 22.

Jaafari told the briefing on Tuesday that the tragedy that rocked Belgium’s capital had been caused by wrong policy in regard to terrorists and to the Syrian conflict.
