PYONGYANG, March 23. /TASS/. North Korea has once again threatened to take decisive measures in response to current US-South Korean maneuvers.
North Korea’s Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) said in a statement on Wednesday that "the revolutionary army is ready to unleash a war of retribution in order to destroy the United States and their South Korean allies." Pyongyang "will no longer tolerate reckless military provocations of US and South Korea," CPRK said commenting on the four-day maneuvers of military ships of US and South Korea that started on March 22 in the framework of the large-scale military drills codenamed Foal Eagle..
"Around 50 ships and submarines from each side, including USS John C. Stennis, are taking part in maneuvers underway in the Yellow Sea and the Sea of Japan," South Korea’s Defense Ministry said.
