MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Belgian ambassador to Russia Alex Van Meeuwen on Tuesday thanked Russians for their support and condolences over the terror attacks on Brussels airport and metro station, which claimed 34 lives.
The ambassador thanked Russians "for the solidarity and compassion" on behalf of the Belgium government.
A series of terrorist attacks hit the Belgian capital on Tuesday morning. According to the latest reports, the death toll in three bombings in Brussels has risen to at least 34, and more than 200 are injured.
