BRUSSELS, March 22. /TASS/. The explosion in Brussels’s Loi Street was not a terrorist attack, Belgian police said.

"Bomb disposal specialists destroyed a suspicious parcel in a controlled explosion," the source explained.

Explosions hit the Belgian capital’s airport and metro earlier on Tuesday. Over 20 people were killed and 50 injured. All metro, tram and bus services were shut down in Brussels. Belgium's terror alert level was raised to maximum.
