Source: agenda of Russian-Iranian talks due March 6-7 to cover Syrian problem

TEHRAN, March 5. /TASS/. Russia's presidential envoy on the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov is expected in Tehran for talks due on March 6-7, an Iranian high-ranking diplomatic source told TASS on Saturday.

"The agenda includes a number of regional issues, including Syria," the source said. "The Middle East topics will be discussed in a complex."

Besides, the source said, the parties will touch upon issues related to fighting terrorism, as well as development of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Iran.

Moscow and Tehran have agreed to develop contacts in the interests of further cooperation in various sectors. Earlier this week, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin visited Tehran.
