Ukraine's Luhansk republic militia claim being shelled three rimes over 24 hours

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. The positions of militia forces of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic were shelled three times over 24 hours, the local defense ministry reported on Friday.

"In particular, the Kalinovka settlement area twice came under fire opened from the Luganskoye urban-type settlement. The fire was opened from small arms and a heavy machine gun," a LPR defense official is quoted by the LuganskInformCenter.

According to the LPR people's militia, the Ukrainian security forces also opened fire from a tripod-mounted man-portable antitank gun on the Lozovoye village.

At the January 13 meeting of the Contact Group on the Ukrainian crisis settlement the sides supported the initiative of Russia’s envoy Boris Gryzlov on ensuring complete ceasefire on the territory of Donbass. This is the seventh attempt to fully observe the ceasefire regime in Ukraine’s southeast. At the recent meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk the participants expressed regret over continuing violations of ceasefire regime in Donbass.
