UN SC working on draft resolution denouncing attacks on hospitals in Syria and Yemen

The document is to fix that attacks on medical establishments are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law

UNITED NATIONS, March 3. /TASS/. The United Nations Security Council is working on a new draft resolution urging to stop attacks on hospitals and medical establishments in Syria, Yemen and other conflict zones, AFP said on Thursday.

According to the news agency, the document is being drafted by Egypt, Japan, Spain, New Zealand and Uruguay which are non-permanent members of the Security Council.

The document is to fix that attacks on medical establishments are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and demand those responsible for such actions be held accountable.
