MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Intra-Syrian talks in Geneva are expected to resume in early March, a source in the Syrian opposition that took part in the previous round of negotiations told TASS on Thursday.
"According to information that we have, the resumption of the process will be announced at the very beginning of March while consultations are expected in the first week (of March)," the source said.
The previous round of Intra-Syrian talks brought no results. UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura has met with the government delegation twice since January 29 at the Palace of Nations. The opposition represented by the High Negotiations Committee (HNC) came to the UN headquarters in Europe only once. No agreements were reached at talks.
