MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. The first meeting between Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia that took place on February 12 in Havana can be followed by the second and third, but there are no specific agreements yet, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's External Church Relations Department Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) has told TASS.

"His Holiness said that the first meeting could be followed by the second and third, but so far we have no specific agreements. Meanwhile, we need to reflect on the results of the meeting that has taken place and try to bring to life what the pope and the patriarch urged to do," Metropolitan Hilarion said. When asked where the subsequent meetings could take place he said, "I haven’t the slightest idea."

Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill exchange Easter and Christmas greetings and maintain correspondence.
