The cabinet has agreed to recommend that the UK remain part of the "reformed European Union"

LONDON, February 20. /TASS/. Prime Minister David Cameron said on Saturday he will propose holding a referendum on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union on June 23.

"I will go to parliament and propose that the British people decide our future in Europe through an in-out referendum on Europe on Thursday the 23rd of June," Cameron said after a cabinet meeting.

He said that the cabinet has agreed to recommend that the UK remain part of the "reformed European Union".
