KIEV, February 16. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) said on its website on Tuesday it has registered a draft resolution on no-confidence to the government.
The document was initiated by Yuri Lutsenko who leads the pro-presidential Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction.
The text of the resolution is unavailable so far.
Yuri Lutsenko has called on lawmakers to vote for the resignation of the government at today’s session.
"[Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko said today that no-confidence of 70% means that the prosecutor general and the cabinet are to go. We have collected 150 signatures, registered draft resolution number 4080 and are asking to vote for the change in the government today," he said addressing the parliament.
