One killed, one wounded in booby-trap blast in east Ukraine — source

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. One civilian has been killed and another one wounded as a booby-trap set by the Ukrainian forces exploded in the northern district of Gorlovka in eastern Ukraine, a source in law enforcement agencies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has said.

"At 9.20 a.m. (6.20 a.m. GMT) two civilians were blown up by a booby trap in a neutral zone close to the Zhovanka village (a territory controlled by Kiev). According to preliminary information, as a result of the mine explosion, one was killed and another one received a fragmentation wound," he said.

Two days ago, a minivan hit an anti-tank mine in a buffer zone near Ukraine’s Novomikhailovka checkpoint. Four people were killed and more than 10 others were wounded, eyewitnesses said.
